Sentenced on January 10, 2025 to 8 years in prison for setting fire to the Pissevin police station, an incarcerated Nîmes resident is once again summoned before the Nîmes criminal court. He is accused of a drug case. The hearing is scheduled for September 23, 2025.

Yasine B was sentenced on January 10 to 8 years in prison for setting fire to the Pissevin police station, five days before its inauguration by the Minister of the Interior at the time, Gérald Darmanin. On the night of August 21-22, 2024, the fire also ravaged the Wagner bakery, the butcher's shop and the Point de la chance tobacco shop.

The Nîmes resident who denied having participated in this fire, claimed to have nothing to do with drug trafficking. He should appear again before the Nîmes criminal court on September 23, 2025. He is being prosecuted for possession and transportation of narcotics in March 2024.
