The Natural History Museum in London has revealed the 25 photos selected for the "public prize" of the prestigious wildlife photography competition Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Among these, four photos are among the finalists, including that of these two lionesses who are grooming themselves full of affection and attention to their guests. one of their young, in the Masaï Mara, Kenya. Early in the morning, photographer Mark Boyd observed These lionesses groom one of the five cubs of the pride, on their territory. The evening before, they had gone hunting, leaving the cubs hidden overnight in dense bushes. Returning from their unsuccessful hunt, they called for help. the little ones in the open meadow. Females mutually raise their young as their own, sharing parental duties.
