39-year-old Alina Kabaeva, who is considered the longtime mistress of the 70-year-old Russian president, has been published for the first time in a long time. She opened the Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy of her name in Sochi. The complex is located on the Black Sea coast next to the Olympic Stadium. Opening the new complex, she avoided mentioning Putin amid new allegations of his health problems, and did not mention the war in Ukraine, in which more than 100,000 Russian soldiers.

But she made it clear that she supports the “special operation”, as the war in Ukraine is called in the Russian Federation, by wearing a brooch in the shape of the letter “Z”.

“Of course, when I was doing gymnastics, I was an athlete, I and I could not dream of such conditions. But, as life shows, the impossible is possible. And Russia is a country of great opportunities,” Kabaeva said.

The event was also attended by Russian Presidential Aide Igor Levitin, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexei Miller, President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Irina Viner, athletes Svetlana Khorkina, Alexei Nemov, Yana Batyrshina and others.

Russian media are forbidden to discuss the relationship between Kabaeva and Putin. For the first time, rumors about their relationship appeared back in 2008, when the Russian newspaper Moskovsky Korrespondent published an article that Putin had divorced his wife Lyudmila Shkrebneva and was going to marry Kabaeva. The official Kremlin denied everything said in the article, and the newspaper was closed shortly after publication.

According to unconfirmed reports, Kabaeva and Putin have four children: two boys and twin girls. All children were born in Switzerland, where the former gymnast lived in Ukraine before the war. After that, she showed up in Moscow, accompanied by a whole army of female bodyguards, and from that moment she appears at official events from time to time.

Kabaeva has no official role in Russia. But she and her relatives own expensive real estate, and money is constantly flowing into her fund account. Almost nothing is known about her life. And there are no pictures of her children on the Web.
