Who is the double pension for every month?
As the “Gazeta” portal reminds us, recently we have been dealing with rampant inflation and constantly rising prices. This situation is especially hard for seniors, who had a problem with making ends meet anyway. Probably more than one pensioner dreams of a higher benefit. It turns out that it is possible to receive two benefits. What criteria must be met? Where to apply?
Additional foreign benefit
Seniors can breathe a sigh of relief in those months when the 13th and 14th retirement benefits are credited to their account. Then many of the seniors can afford to buy what they usually have to deny themselves. Some of the seniors may claim two benefits. It is possible for people who worked not only in Poland, but also abroad.
For example, for people who worked in Germany, the possibility of receiving benefits from this country appears only after the person has worked there for 5 years. In order to be able to receive the service also from abroad, you must submit an appropriate application there.
Changes for uniformed services
Representatives of uniformed services could also apply for a double benefit for a long time. They were then receiving civil and military pensions. However, in 2021 it was decided that this solution would not be available to people who entered service after January 2, 1999.
However, they have the right to choose the benefit that is more favorable to them. Depending on whether the pension from ZUS or ZER MSWiA is more profitable, the application should be submitted there.
For the farmer
Farmers can also get a double retirement pension. This is a solution that is only available to those who have paid contributions to both ZUS and KRUS for a period of 25 years. It can be used by people born after December 31, 1948.
You must apply to both authorities to receive both benefits. Lifetime benefits will be paid.
