Company SpaceX announced postponement of the launch vehicle, the Falcon 9, which was to deliver into orbit the next batch of satellites for Internet distribution Starlink.
The new date of sending satellites into orbit is currently unknown.
“Postpone today’s launch of the tenth mission Starlink to give more time for inspections. Our team is working to determine the next possible launch date. We will announce it in the near future”, — reported in SpaceX.
The company SpaceX plans to launch mid 2020 launch 12 thousand satellites for Internet distribution throughout the world.
Recall that a few months ago Elon Musk said that he wrote a few tweets using the Internet connection via the satellite constellation Starlink.
As already reported, HB, some scientists did not approve Starlink project. The fact that now in orbit are a little more than 2500 workers satellites, and even they are under threat of collision with space debris that remained from the devices disabled.
Scientists are afraid that the constellation of satellites 12 thousand Starlink (not to mention the 30 thousand) will be an unprecedented event in the history of space exploration and, in the best case, will increase the risk of collisions of space objects on different orbits of the Earth, and at worst — will lead to an absolute pollution of near-earth space due to the destruction of all satellites.
