Sports and school employee arrested for luring

A 27-year-old man who works in an educational institution and in the soccer community was arrested on Thursday for luring. It would have made 18 potential minor victims.

The investigation by the Quebec City Police Department began on Tuesday after the report of a victim. The police were quickly able to establish links with 18 potential victims who will be met.

According to our information, the suspect used social networks to lure his victims. He allegedly had sexual exchanges with them.

The suspect had professional ties with at least one educational institution in the Quebec region as well as with various sports associations in soccer, can we read in the press release issued by the SPVQ this morning.

The suspect is expected to appear at the Quebec courthouse today.
