Remains people in Springfield: a homicide, according to the RCMP

The human remains recently discovered in Springfield, Nova Scotia, are those of Barry Albert, a man who went missing on August 28, confirms the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.< /p>

The RCMP now consider his death to be the result of a homicide.

Barry Albert, also known as Barry Mosher, was charged with assault following an incident on August 1.

Barry Albert, or Barry Mosher, was reported missing in Springfield on August 28, 2022. He was killed, according to RCMP who found his remains on October 8.

Police found his remains on October 8 at a property along Hastings Road in Springfield, about 45 km northwest of Bridg ewater.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. Other RCMP specialty teams are also involved, as well as the Bridgewater Police Service and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office.
