The designer of the character of Snoke comes to confirm a hypothesis that is born in the minds of fans since 2016 !
Among the most popular theories regarding The Ascent of Skywalker, the one on Snoke and Grand Moff Tarkin has always been one of our favorites. What it is ? According to this hypothesis, the Supreme Leader is none other than the clone of the sadly famous and loyal confidant to Emperor Palpatine (whose soul would be able to penetrate the body of Rey according to this crazy theory) ! On the one hand because his or her genetic heritage is ideal for creating a to be dedicated to the cause obscure defended by Darth Sidious (who clearly has a DNA evil), on the other hand, because the two villains have a face similar. Characters with cheekbones too prominent, there are not a hundred…

However, this theory has just been confirmed by Ivan Manzella, the designer and sculptor of the villain, during an interview with Force Material. Indeed, the latter revealed himself to be based on the appearance of Peter Cushing (the interpreter of Tarkin) for modeling the skull of Snoke ! “J. J [Abrams] has mentioned a doll Hammer “The Home of all nightmares”. I have, therefore, based on Peter Cushing… When I did the demo, I included elements of the cheekbones and profile. This was not supposed to be Cushing’s, but it was my reference to Hammer“. Like what, the fans have the eye ! Even if it is not a clone of Tarkin, the two characters were indeed a structure of the face identical. That’s good, contrary to the announcement of Disney as the release date of the next Star Wars are repulsed !
