This time, he came. At the end of August, St&eacutephane Plaza was scheduled to appear before the Paris Criminal Court to answer complaints of domestic violence filed by two ex-partners. &Agrave due to “psychological fragility” attested by a letter from a psychologist, he had not made the trip. The trial was therefore postponed to January 9, 2025. France's most famous real estate agent faces an 18-month suspended prison sentence.

During his hearing, Stephane Plaza was disappointed to talk about his past romantic relationships. When questioned about his actions, he sometimes gave surprising answers. When the president told him about the two dislocated fingers and the torn bone caused by an argument with one of his exes, he mentioned his dyspraxia, for example. A disorder that, according to him, prevents him from controlling his strength. While the hearing seemed to drag on, he also indicated that he says “I love you” to his cat: “Mr. President, I admit it, I have an easy 'I love you'. I also say 'I love you' to my cat Topaze”. Stéphane Plaza also did not hesitate to castigate himself: “I am a wimp, a sissy, a coward” , he declared in particular to deny the fact of being violent.

The former M6 star presenter was also not stingy with intimate details during his trial. Among other things, he mentioned his father, who, according to him, was a great athlete. In an even more surprising way, he also revealed that he had a cosmetic surgery operation. Benoît Deragon followed the trial and live tweeted it on his account. He quoted Stéphane Plaza, who declared in full audience: “France will know that at that time I had an operation because my eyelids were drooping”.

A confession that goes with other, darker ones. The presenter of Recherche appartement ou maison thus confided that he had thought about taking his own life. “In December 2022. I got up at 2am. I got dressed. I went out to the terrace on the 6th floor. I climbed on my railing for 30 seconds…”, he said, before revealing that the only thing that had held him back had been to think that if he jumped, “we would say he was guilty”.

The complainants shocked: “If she had to do it again, she wouldn't file a complaint”

For their part, the complainants are horrified. Having come to the bar, A., one of them claimed that he had “lied about almost everything”.

The second, P., indicated through her lawyer that “if she had to do it again, she would not file a complaint today.” And this, in particular, because of the revenge porn of which she was a victim. Intimate videos sent during her relationship with St&eacutephane Plaza were in fact broadcast during the hearing.
