Summer vacation is fast approaching. Financial aid will allow 18-25 year olds to travel at a lower cost. We tell you everything below.
Travelling is a luxuryfor many people. Young people, and more particularly students, find it very difficult to afford holidays at the end of the school year. Many of them prefer to work during July and August in order to be able to pay rent and other expenses for the next school year. Students should soon have finished all their end-of-year exams. They would therefore like to go on vacation in order to decompress from these last very stressful weeks. These students will be delighted to learn that financial assistance has been put in place to help young people aged 18 to 25 go on a trip.
According to a study conducted by Crédoc (Research Center for the Study and Observation of Living Conditions), only 22% of young people can afford to go on vacation during the summer. From now on, it would be possible for a greater number of them to make trips in 2022. Indeed, the National Agency for Holiday Vouchers is offering an operation called “Departure 6:25 pm” and which helps to cover 80% of the cost of a stay. However, this aid does not exceed €250.
Summer 2022: young people can discover France and Europe at a lower cost
The beneficiaries of this aid are young people aged 18 to 25 years residing in France . Grant holders, volunteers in civic service, apprentices, second-chance schoolchildren, holders of a future contract, beneficiaries of PACEA (contractual support course towards employment and autonomy) and those from the ASE (social assistance for children) are eligible for this offer. Students are not the only ones affected by this aid. Indeed, employees with a reference tax income of less than 17,280 euros per year can also subscribe to it. This financial boost simply makes it possible to rent apartments in very different destinations. People eligible for this aid can therefore go to the sun, to the mountains or discover major European cities. You can consult all the details of this aid on the depart1825 website.
