Superyacht presented in Italy, inspired by the Cartier diamond

The new yacht by designer Gabriele Teruzzi is named after the famous 128-carat diamond owned by the Cartier jewelry house

Italian design studio Gabriele Teruzzi has created a bold concept for a modern superyacht inspired by the famous 128-carat Stella Del Sud (“Star of the South”) diamond, which was acquired in 2002 by the French jewelry house Cartier. The Daily Mail writes about it.

The cost of the faceted “Star of the South” is 94 million dollars. The diamond was mined in Brazil in July 1853 and made history as the first Brazilian diamond to achieve international recognition.

The silhouette of a diamond adorns the 110-meter yacht, and it will also sparkle like a diamond as planned by the designer, because it is replete with glass panels.

The exterior of the luxury yacht is designed in a single “diamond” style. The glazing of the superstructure, extending into the hull, also plays on the “precious theme”.

The modern and richly decorated interior is centered around the main saloon, which is decorated with painted panels. On the main deck there are eight VIP cabins with private terraces for each.

The upper deck, reserved for the dining area and the second saloon, can be reached by a beautiful spiral staircase. Bridgedeck, meanwhile, is entirely devoted to the owner's apartment with two bathrooms.

On the lowest deck, there is a spa with gym and sauna. And the main “highlight” are the three pools that flow into each other, creating a “waterfall effect”.

Gabriele Teruzzi describes his new brainchild as a “sparkling diamond” with Art Deco elements.

Earlier, Focus wrote about all the yachts of Russian oligarchs that have been arrested since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Armed Forces into Ukraine.
