Dynamo Kyiv has not yet confirmed the information that the 74-year-old former coach of “Shakhtar” Mircea Lucescu will coach the capital club. Recall that the “white-blue” July 20, fired the team’s coaching staff headed by Alexei Mikhailichenko, and on July 23 signed a two year contract (with the possibility of prolongation for another season) with the Romanian specialist, who on July 29, will be 75 years old. Monday July 27, Lucescu made a statement in the Romanian press, refusing to work in “Dynamo”.
“I have no such information about which I could speak. He goes somewhere or comes. All late type. I have no information”, — quotes the President of FC “Dynamo” Igor Surkis “Sport-Express”.
“On 18:11 today the official decision that Lucescu left the “Dynamo” no. At this moment the conversation between Lucescu and Surkis on how events will unfold. Lucescu confirmed to me the information that appeared in the Romanian media. But this is not a final decision. Final decision will be made after a conversation with Surkis. Lucescu believes that the pressure of the last days is not the most adequate, and the motivation of his work in “Dinamo” extremely professional”, — said the host of “Ciganik Live” on FootballHub Igor Tsiganyk.
Note that Mircea Lucescu (the oldest current coach in the world!) after agreement with the Vice-champion of Ukraine flew home and was to be presented to the team after the release of the holiday on July 30th.
Earlier, the “FACTS” reported that the President “Dynamo” Igor Surkis after the appointment Lucescu took an unpleasant conversation with the ultras.
