Svetlana Loboda spoke with compatriots who have found refuge in the Estonian capital Tallinn. She paid special attention to children, and gave Ukrainians tickets for her concert.
Ukrainian Singer, TV presenter and songwriter Svetlana Loboda, who is giving a charity concert in Tallinn (Estonia) on October 28, met with Ukrainian refugees who have been living for seven months on the ship of the Estonian Shipping Company, moored at the quay of the Tallinn embankment. In total, 2,000 people found shelter there, mostly mothers with children.
Despite the fact that all Ukrainians fleeing the war in Estonia are provided with the most necessary things: food, comfort, a roof over their heads, moral and From a psychological point of view, people experience difficulties away from home. When Loboda came to visit them, they greeted her with applause and did not hide their sincere joy.
Svetlana's meeting with her compatriots turned out to be very sincere. In places, conversations turned into interviews and even a concert, and the star was also signing autographs.
“This is a very special place for everyone: for Ukrainians and Estonians. The pain of loss and the joy of salvation, homesickness and prayers for peace and victory are concentrated here overnight. We talked a lot, with adults and children, hugged and cried. Supporting each other is part of our struggle for freedom and justice!”, the artist shared.
Together with those present, she sang the song “Chervona Kalina”.
LOBODA made the kids happy sweets and presented tickets for the upcoming performance in Tallinn.
This is not the first time the artist meets people fleeing the war. In Riga, where the singer now lives with her family, she also visited refugees from different regions of Ukraine.
In early June, the singer presented a clip dedicated to 100 days of war in Ukraine. The piercing black-and-white video tells about the courageous opposition of the Ukrainian people to Russian aggression.
In a recent interview with Katerina Gordeeva, the artist admitted that she was very mistaken when she was not interested in politics, but the situation has changed.
