I haven't seen my parents in 20 years.

Real life. I was 5 years old when my parents gave me to my grandmother and disappeared. Now that I earn well, they demand alimonyów

They are members of the folk choir, they have spent their whole lives on tour, also abroad, and when I was 5 years old, they gave me up to my grandmother.

I saw my parents so rarely, who visited me sporadically, that over time I stopped even recognizing them – that's what my grandmother told me.

So our relationship was cut short and I started living my own life: I got married, I work as a dentist, I love my job and I earn well. Last year my parents showed up out of nowhere.

They sniffed the money and went on the attack

They started calling the clinic because they don't have my private phone number. They began to lament and complain about life. Elderly parents who left me demanded maintenance from me.

I listened to them carefully and told them that they had made their own choice when they abandoned their little daughter and left her to be raised by her grandmother. Over time, they began to be more brazen and decided to take advantage of the “benefits” of the law. They threatened me that they would go to court and demand alimony from me.

The thing is, however, that when we parted, it was my life that deteriorated materially, not the other way round. Grandma spent her pension raising me, educating me and all the rest.

I don't think they'll be able to win anything in court, especially in the current situation in the country. In fact, my only parent is my grandmother, who raised me as her own daughter, and my parents made a choice twenty years ago…
