German tuning studio Delta4x4, which is engaged in the creation of extreme off-road vehicles, has prepared the Tesla Model Y for off-road. Details of the project were revealed on the company's website.
The tuners increased the clearance of the Tesla Model Y by 57 millimeters. Also, the electric car was expanded with a track and wing extensions were added. This made it possible to install new off-road tires Continental Cross Contact ATR 265/45R20.
A roof rack was installed to store repair boards, shovels, water cans, a spare wheel and a tool box. Next to it is an LED beam. For more illumination, four PIAA spotlights were placed on the front bumper.
< p> The electric SUV was tested on snowy hills. It performed very well there.
In Germany, Tesla Model Y owners can order a package of improvements from Delta4x4. The increase in clearance will cost 900 euros. For a set of wheels and tires you will have to pay from 4500 euros. The roof rack costs 2,900 euros and the light bar costs another 900 euros. The price of the PIAA spotlights on the front bumper is 1800 euros.
