According to the “Super Express” portal, President Andrzej Duda signed an amendment to the act on social insurance. Pensions and disability pensions will increase by at least 13.8 percent. The lowest retirement benefit will be PLN 1,588.44 gross in 2023.

The government has planned for the next year indexation in terms of percentages. The amendment to the act went to the desk of President Andrzej Duda, who signed it. Therefore, there is no doubt that next year's minimum pension will increase by PLN 250, and other benefits by 13.8 percent. The social pension will increase to PLN 1,191.33.

In the case of persons who receive a partial old-age pension, the next year's indexation will not be lower than PLN 125. In the case of seniors whose old-age pension is lower than the minimum, they will have the benefit increased in accordance with the adopted indexation index.

The first indexed benefit will be paid to pensioners and pensioners in March 2023. They can be counted on by both people receiving benefits from ZUS and KRUS, uniformed services, people on bridging pensions, teachers' compensation benefits, as well as supplementary parental benefits.

This is how seniors' benefits will increase

Seniors, whose benefit is currently PLN 1,900 gross, will receive PLN 262 more after indexation. With a pension of PLN 2,000 with tax, this is an increase of PLN 276. With a benefit of PLN 2,300 gross, the indexation will amount to PLN 317.

Seniors receiving PLN 2,900 gross will receive an additional PLN 400 after next year's indexation in March. Seniors with a benefit of PLN 3,700 gross will gain PLN 511.
