The list of scandals associated with the military range “Wide LAN” in the Nikolaev area, added another episode: the detectives NAB reported about suspicion, three former officials of the APU and two representatives of the private companies in causing the state damage for the sum over 37 million UAH.

“The investigation has established that in 2017-2018, the chief kvartirno-operational management of the Armed forces of Ukraine, the head of the construction, reconstruction and capital repair of military facilities of the Main library of the APU and the head of Department of technical supervision of construction of the Main KEU APU in collusion with the private companies, namely, its Director and the beneficial owner, organized the acceptance of works and services for the development of the field camp Wide LAN in the village the resident of Ulyanovsk of the Nikolaev area“, — the press-service of SAP on Thursday.
Despite the fact that the construction work of field camps have not actually been executed, officials APU still “contributed” to the transfer of funds to the company account.
As a result, the state suffered damage for the sum over 37 million UAH, which is confirmed by conclusion of State audit service and held in the case of examinations.
At the moment the question of electing a suspect measure of restraint. However, the pre-trial investigation continues, set other persons involved in the Commission of the specified crime.
According to the publication “Word and deed”, the suspect said the former head of GCAU APU Oleg Galushko, head of Department of construction, reconstruction and capital repairs of military objects GCAU APU Sergei Cavernosa and ex-Director of Department of technical supervision of construction of GCAU APU Victor Antoshka. In addition, the law enforcement suspect handed the former beneficiary of the company “Rist” Oksana Balykin and its ex-Director Konstantin Chausovo.
Earlier, the “FACTS” wrote that in the GBR reported about suspicion to the five senior officials of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine, which prior agreement has made the purchase of low-quality clothing and equipment for the APU at inflated prices.
