The Baltic States and Canada are for Ukraine's entry into NATO

Foreign Ministers Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have published messages with the same text on their Twitter blogs in support of the early accession of Ukraine to NATO.

The Foreign Ministers of the Baltic States and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada stated that their countries are in favor of Ukraine joining NATO as soon as possible.

For example, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics and Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu published messages with the same text on their Twitter blogs in support of the early accession of Ukraine to NATO.

At a press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly also spoke out in support of Ukraine's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance.

“As I said, we believe that Ukraine should be a member of NATO. We have been advocating for over ten years. And we believe in an open door policy,” the Canadian Foreign Minister said.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine is applying for NATO membership.
