The BEI explains that, at the scene, the police would have identified a suspicious vehicle, with the help of a security guard, and that it would have fled.

A pursuit was initiated, but it would have finally been abandoned, since the officers preferred to follow the suspect vehicle from a distance.

Despite everything, the suspect vehicle would have been involved in a collision with another vehicle, in the sector of the boulevard des Laurentides and the rue de Grenoble, indicates the BEI.
