Doctors believe that iodized salt can prevent substance deficiency, it is only important to consider the following points:
- The recommended daily dose is 150 mcg. This amount is contained in half a teaspoon of the product.
- Excess salt in the diet can lead to an increase in blood pressure. This causes additional problems with the work of the heart, kidneys and brain.
- Excess iodine aggravates already existing diseases of the thyroid gland.
- To exclude such problems, you can follow a balanced diet that contains seafood, poultry, dairy products containing iodine.
