The sad list of athletes who passed away in June of this year, joined three-time world champion in Paralympic rowing Angela Madsen: the woman died at the age of 60 years trying to cross the Pacific ocean.
About it writes “Sport-Express” with reference to The Guardian.
It is reported that Madsen wanted to set a record, becoming the first woman with paralysis, which crossed the Pacific ocean. If she succeeded, she would also be the most age among women who managed to cross the ocean.
She began her current journey in April and had hoped to complete it in July.
Madsen has also created a program for rowers with disabilities in California.
“I wanted to create an opportunity for people with disabilities to paddle. This is one of the most inclusive of activities that people can perform. We row three days a week and do it all year round. It’s absolutely free for people with disabilities, “said Madsen.
The publication says that the athlete also competed in the shot put; in this competition she won bronze in the Paralympics 2012 in London.
Earlier, the “FACTS” I wrote that a few days earlier at the age of 27 years died suddenly Jess Leanne Norris of the English town of Bolton, which won the national competition “Miss pole Dance” in the UK (Miss Pole Dance UK) in 2011 and 2015.
