The plot of the famous Hollywood movie “Runaway Car” has become a reality in China. On the highway in Haval H6, the cruise control jammed and the brakes failed – the car could not stop and raced at a speed of 100 km/h for several hours. This is discussed in the video channel TVBS Plus.
The incident occurred in Hunan province. Crossover Haval H6 was moving at night on the highway on cruise control at a speed of 100 km/h. When the driver decided to pull off the highway, he discovered that the cruise control would not turn off. Moreover, it is also impossible to slow down – the brakes of the car failed.
The driver called the Haval service center, but they could not help him – deactivate the cruise control failed. Then I had to contact the police.
The police quickly responded and sent an escort for the crossover. Haval H6 had to drive with a police cortege for about 500 km – they managed to stop only when there was no gasoline left in the tank.

Now the Chinese crossover has been handed over to the Great Wall factory. The manufacturer's specialists are studying the car and trying to find the cause of the failure of the cruise control and brakes.
