A slight excess glucose in the blood is determined by physicians as a condition of “prediabetes” because changes are not sufficient for classification of the disease. It is at such an early stage, according to her, the doctors determine the probability of future development of type II diabetes.
“One out of 13 adults has prediabetes, and every sixth child is born by a mother that during pregnancy, had high glucose in the blood and in 84 percent of cases, the increase in glucose was associated with diabetes” — leads her words edition.
