“We were expecting the worst”, – so responded the French authorities on the publication of the National Institute of statistics and economic studies numbers drop in GDP for the second quarter.

Economy Minister Bruno Le Mayor stated that according to some forecasts the drop could be all 17 %.
Bruno Le Mayor also warned that the second wave of the pandemic coronavirus, which a number of experts in the field of health predicting a fall in the country could threaten the recovery of production, putting France on the brink of survival.
On the other hand it is emphasized that the second wave, the government has prepared, and the existing challenges relating to the downturn have given the “serious answer”.
