A charged Alpine A110 R accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and develops 285 km/h. The design of the sports car actively used carbon, so it turned out to be very light.
The first photos of the Alpine A110 R have been published. The extreme version of the coupe from the sports division of Renault will be presented in two weeks at the Paris Motor Show, and from November it will go on sale at a price of 71,000 euros. This is reported by the official website of the Renault Group.
The new Alpine A110 R will be the most expensive car from Renault. Model competitors are called Porsche Cayman and Lotus Emira.
In addition, the sports car is also the fastest model of the Renault Group. Its 1.8-liter 300-horsepower engine remained unchanged, but the car was lightened by 34 kg (up to only 1082 kg) due to the carbon fiber hood and rims. The result is 3.9 s to 100 km/h and a maximum of 285 km/h.
The coupe received a stiffer suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires in size 215/40 R18 at the front and 245/40 R18 at the rear. In addition, an aerodynamic package with a body kit and a rear wing is provided.
Alcantara dominates the interior, and the door handles are replaced with fabric hinges. The Alpine A110 R sports car also received sports bucket seats with a carbon frame.
