The British brand Vanwall became famous in the 50s and 60s for its racing models, which even won Formula 1. Now it has been revived, but cars will be produced in Germany, and the emphasis will be on electric vehicles and hybrids.
The new Vanwall Vandervell S is an electric hatchback with a discreet faceted design inspired by the Lancia Delta. It has a long hood, a high window line and pronounced flared wheel arches. The car received a carbon body kit and retractable door handles. 22-inch wheels are standard.
The electric car will be offered in two all-wheel drive versions. The Vanwall Vandervell S is equipped with a 320-horsepower unit: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and has a range of 450 km.
The top version is 580-horsepower and starts up to a hundred in 3.4 seconds. It has less power reserve – 420 km. Battery parameters have not yet been disclosed: according to preliminary data, it was borrowed from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Kia EV6.
