A busy intersection in the city’s financial district was closed due to falling glass.
Strong winds hit Toronto early Sunday morning and about 7 in the morning began to receive reports that next to the streets of King West and Yonge falling glass.
Fire service Toronto originally stated that the glass fell from the 49th floor at 1 King West, but then the authorities said that most likely the glass fell from a lower height.
About the victims was not stated.
In addition to the intersection was closed and the entrance to the subway within.
TTC says that the tram route 504 King depart from it and go across Spadina Avenue, Queen Street West and Church Street because of the dangerous situation.
