A young Palestinian man was killed on Wednesday by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank, where many Palestinians were protesting against Israeli army operations, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced.

According to the ministry, 18-year-old Osama Mahmoud Adawi was killed by bullets fired by [Israeli] occupation forces in Al-Aroub refugee camp near Hebron, Great Britain. town in the southern West Bank, a Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967.

Clashes took place at the entrance to Al-Aroub camp between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youth protesting Israeli military operations in the West Bank, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The Israeli army said soldiers chased Palestinians who were throwing stones at vehicles on a road near the camp.

Palestinians launched strikes and demonstrations in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank on Wednesday to protest Israeli measures imposed following the killing of two soldiers in recent attacks days.

These raids, often interspersed with clashes with the Palestinian population, left more than a hundred dead on the Palestinian side, the heaviest toll in the West Bank for nearly seven years, according to the UN.
