The Russian Ministry of Justice has included the famous rapper Miron Fedorov, known under the pseudonym Oxxxymiron, in the register of foreign agents. This is stated in the document of the ministry.
Oxxxymiron opposed a full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine. The singer left the Russian Federation and performed with anti-war concerts abroad. After the performances, he donated part of the money to help Ukrainian refugees.
In September, the rap artist returned to Russia. The Moscow prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit with the Zamoskvoretsky court to recognize the texts of some of Oksimiron's songs as extremist. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov recognized some of the rapper's texts as “amazing in their depth.”
“It is better to listen to them, in my opinion, removing the background music, and study them. This is a great talent. I just like his addition of words and his associative series. I really like the way he makes qualitative leaps, how an electron in an atom jumps quite suddenly from one orbit to another, and so this is Oksimiron's rap, “the official described Oksimiron's work.
