The designer's mother also starred in the advertising of bags. She played the role of a nurse taking delivery.
American pioneering luxury brand IEMBE has unveiled an unusual ad for the new Mini Iembe Bag. In the video, the model portrays a woman in labor who gives birth to a purse in agony.
The mother of the founder of the brand Travis, Dimira Terry, also starred in the advertising campaign. A woman poses in a tight-fitting jumpsuit with “disc” sleeves and an original hat. On her feet she has shoes on a huge platform and high stilettos, and her eyes are hidden behind sunglasses. She also appears in the advertisement in the form of a nurse with the inscription “Mom IEMBE” on the badge.
The fashion designer in the announcement of the campaign wrote: “That's why I always book my mom to shoot my clothes.”
IEMBE was founded in Travis' hometown of Hartford, Connecticut in 2020.
“I wanted to create a label that could represent ownership of every room you walk into, the idea of being in my bag,” says the designer.
IEMBE (pronounced as “I-EM-BEE”) suggests the motto “You define luxury”.
