The 2023 Peugeot 408 is the brand's most iconic crossover and a more affordable alternative to models like the BMW X4 or Audi Q3 Sportback. It has a dashing profile with a sloping arched roof, a curved window line and a pointed rear end. A huge grille is combined with a wide air intake in the bumper, and oblong LED headlights are complemented by branded running lights.
The Peugeot 408 crossover is built on the EMP platform, like the 308 hatchback, but noticeably larger than its brother – 4687 mm in length and 1848 mm in width with a wheelbase at 2787 mm. The volume of its trunk is 536-1611 liters.
The relationship with the Peugeot 308 is most noticeable in the cabin. The coupe-crossover has the same compact steering wheel, and the virtual instrument panel is located very high. The multimedia touch display is turned towards the driver. Options include Nappa leather trim, surround cameras, night vision, and 690W Focal acoustics.
