The Malaysian government will allocate rooms to sleep for the tired deputies
The Malaysian government is concerned about the low attendance at the meetings of Parliament. The staff of the Cabinet of Ministers learned that deputies complain of a large amount of work and fatigue. One of the deputies gave an example — the time of the adoption of the budget the deputies had to sleep after midnight. Large loads lead to the fact that the time for sleep is not enough, accordingly, parliamentarians had to pass the session to recover.
To meet the complaints of the deputies, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Datuk Leo Vuy Keong said that each MP will be allocated a specially equipped room for sleep. For this purpose, a new building which will be ready by March 2020.
