The NATO Ministers will hold a virtual meeting
The Minister of foreign Affairs of NATO countries will hold in connection with the spread of the coronavirus in Europe will hold a meeting by teleconference.
This was reported in the press service of NATO.
“The North Atlantic Council at the level of foreign Ministers will be held through secure teleconference on Thursday 2 April 2020. The meeting will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg,” – said in the message.
The Alliance recalled that the headquarters of NATO in Brussels precautions are taken to limit further spread of the virus COVID-19, including limited access to visitors, media and non-essential staff.
It is also noted that media representatives will not have physical access to the headquarters of NATO for the lighting of the meeting at the Ministerial level.
