Sabrina may be the Queen of the Underworld, but these things have no tail or head in the Netflix series!
Watch out, SPOILERS! As the saying goes: the devil is in the details. This is not Sabrina, the Queen of the Underworld, played by the actress Kiernan Shipka, who will say the opposite. Yet despite the undoubted success of the final season of the horrific teen-show created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, his end clap is far from perfect. And for good reason, the last episode for example caused an unprecedented wave of anger among fans of New Adventures of Sabrina. Not to mention the many inconsistencies spotted throughout part 4 that interfere with the plot. The proof by five!

The phone call when the power goes out
In the season premiere, Sabrina and the people of Greendale face the first Abomination called by Father Blackwood. The latter, embodied in the material in the guise of a group of miners, has fun cutting the power to the city. Yet despite the widespread cut, Sabrina manages to make a landline call to her friend Theo to warn him.. A small inconsistency that jumped out at us because for once, the magic has nothing to do with it!

Sabrina is not resurrected
The Spellmans have a Cain well in their cemetery able to bring Hilda back to life countless times. The latter even saved the life of Agatha, the Sister of Fate. Yet, Sabrina’s aunts surprisingly don’t use it when their niece dies in the last episode. Worse, Ambrose’s knowledge of necromancy isn’t even mentioned once!

Let it be said, in addition to being a really dangerous example for young people, Nick’s suicide at the very end makes no sense for a wizard as powerful as him. We want to believe that the latter is madly in love with Sabrina, but Rather, did he not have all the necessary necromancy skills to bring his beauty back to life? This final scriptwriting choice remains incomprehensible.

The ease with which Sabrina traps the Abominations
As it was stated in the trailer for the final season, the Abominations are “ancient entities that destroy galaxies“. An appetizer that made us shiver with dread as we imagined the future dangers that awaited Sabrina. Yet, apart from Void which ended up killing Sabrina indirectly while giving the Coven of Zelda a hard time, the young witch made short work of the other Abominations. Here we call it a good beating! A little too easy for our taste elsewhere.

Harvey’s powers unexplained
If we loved the direction taken by the showrunner regarding the narrative arc of Roz, we did however understand that of Harvey less well. In addition to being almost non-existent in part 4 (just like Theo besides to our great regret), the latter realizes that he is now able to have nocturnal visions. A power that Roz would have transmitted to him during their antics, and which was subsequently completely put aside. Too bad, because this intrigue released along the way ultimately has no tail or head, just like these questions that we still ask ourselves about The New Adventures of Sabrina after the final season.
