The Skoda Fabia electric car will be offered in several versions with rear and all-wheel drive. Top models will be able to drive over 400 km without recharging.
The first renderings of the fifth generation Skoda Fabia have been published. The new model will appear no earlier than 2025 and will become an electric vehicle. This is reported by the Motor1 website.
Judging by the images, the new Skoda Fabia will borrow design features from the Vision 7S crossover, which will become serial a little earlier. The hatchback has thin LED headlights and a black plastic insert in place of the grille.
Skoda Fabia's silhouette remains familiar. At the same time, there are fewer facets in appearance, and the sidewalls have become less embossed. Most likely, the electric car will grow a little in size compared to the current model.
The Skoda Fabia electric car will be built on the MEB platform, which is also used by the Volkswagen ID.3 and ID.4. Most likely, it will be the last model on this architecture.
The new Skoda Fabia will be offered in several versions with rear and all-wheel drive – there will be no more front-wheel drive model. The most “long-range” version will be able to travel over 400 km without recharging.
Fabia is not the only popular model of the Czech brand that will become an electric car. The new Skoda Octavia will go the same way.
