Ford Explorer updated externally and radically redesigned its interior. The crossover received a huge multimedia display and is now able to recognize the driver in the face.
The Ford Explorer 2023 was presented in China. Ford's largest crossover has undergone a planned facelift and will go on sale from the end of August. This is reported by the official website of Ford.
The place for the debut of the updated model was not chosen in vain. Explorer is produced not only in the USA, but also in China at the Changan-Ford joint venture.
The new Ford Explorer is recognizable, first of all, by the modified front end: the radiator grille has become larger, and the headlights are now oblong. The bumpers have also been replaced, and the new L-shaped lights at the rear attract attention.
The sporty version of the ST-Line looks more expressive thanks to a different grille pattern and large air intakes. After refinement, the dimensions of the crossover have changed somewhat.
Ford Explorer 2023 dimensions:
- Length – 5063mm
- Width – 2004mm
- Height – 1778mm
- Wheelbase – 3025mm
The interior of the Ford Explorer is inspired by the new generation Mondeo. The front panel has been completely replaced with a wide 27-inch multimedia display. The crossover also has new climate switches and more comfortable front seats. The list of options was replenished with a projection on the windshield and a face recognition function.
Ford Explorer 2023 engines remained the same. The model is offered with petrol turbo engines of 2.3 liters (276 and 300 hp) and 3.0 liters (365 and 400 hp), as well as a 444-horsepower hybrid version. All versions received a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the drive can be rear or all-wheel drive.
