The new Volkswagen Passat B9 will be available exclusively as a station wagon. All versions of the model will receive hybrid installations.
The new Volkswagen Passat was filmed for the first time in Germany. The ninth generation of the popular D-Class is now being tested and will debut next year. This is reported by the Motor1 website.
The photo shows that the design of the Volkswagen Passat B9 will become more elegant – with smoother body lines. The front of the Passat is covered with camouflage that mimics the grille. Most likely, it will be designed in the spirit of the Volkswagen Golf 8.
Only the Volkswagen Passat 2023 station wagon passes the tests, because there will be no sedan in the lineup. Recently, the four-door version was discontinued and the Volkswagen ID.Aero electric car is being prepared to replace it.
The new Volkswagen Passat will receive modified Euro-7 gasoline and diesel engines, all of which will be supplemented by hybrid installations. The plug-in hybrid got on the photo – this is evidenced by the hatch covering the recharging socket on the left wing.
