As a rule, they are voluntary, and their amount depends on the donor's good will and his capabilities. However, not all priests respect the voluntary nature of donations. One of them indicated that the envelope should contain PLN 500.

Research conducted by UCE Reserch on behalf of the “Onet” portal shows that as much as 35 percent. of people taking the survey are of the opinion that you do not need to put anything in the envelope. For 12.8 percent. of the respondents, there is no appropriate amount that should be sacrificed. A similar percentage of respondents declared that they would put up to PLN 50 in the envelope.

12 percent of respondents want to make a donation equal to PLN 50. 9.6 percent of respondents declared to put an amount in the envelope from PLN 81 to PLN 100. 3.2% will choose a sacrifice of between 101 and 150. respondentów. 2 percent intends to put an amount between PLN 151 and PLN 200 in the envelope. Only 1 percent intends to make a donation exceeding PLN 200.

A priest from the parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr in Narew decided that he would decide for his faithful, indicating what donations should be made during the carol. According to the price list he created, the envelope should contain PLN 500 per family.

For one-person households, the clergyman provided for a rate of PLN 250. It's not everything. “The contribution for the organist from the family is PLN 75” – quotes the parish's announcement from the “Business Insider” portal.

The priest from the mentioned parish emphasized that donations are voluntary and only those who want to make them. He also added that if someone cannot afford a donation in a specific amount, let them “pay what they have”. He also indicated that when his predecessors set the quotas, there was no objection.
