Warner Bros. the second time postponed the release of a new spy movie of Christopher Nolan’s “Argument” (in Ukrainian. – Snare). About it reports variety.
First, the picture should have been released July 17, then it was moved to July 31. Now the release has slipped another two weeks – on August 12, 2020. Film of the service is still unknown.
This is due to the pandemic coronavirus and cinemas, which in many countries had not yet opened.
“We are going to show “Proof” to the audience in cinemas on the big screen, when the rollers are ready, but public health officials say that the time has come. At such times, we all need to be flexible. We do not treat it as a traditional film release. We have decided to release the picture in the middle of the week to allow the viewer to watch it in your free time and show it in cinemas for much longer,” said representatives from Warner Bros.
As previously reported, the main role in the film will play John David Washington. Also the film will be Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Kenneth Branagh. Ukrainian trailer can be viewed here.
The film tells about the world of espionage, but details of the plot have not been disclosed. According to Christopher Nolan, the film many large scale productions, scenes are expected in seven countries, and will also be a cool cast and some serious scenery.
