The businessman and his colleagues have created a religious organization, the Brotherhood of the Bald, and can legally work during weekend quarantine.
A businessman from Ternopil, Taras Kovalchuk, has come up with a way how his restaurant and hostel can officially work during weekend quarantine. He wrote about his life hack on his Facebook page.
In particular, he converted the restaurant into a temple, and a hostel into a monastery.
“We started looking for a legal mechanism for how we can continue to work in new conditions. We started looking at the experience of other countries. Poland (the most religious country in Europe) and the fitness center, which has become a church, fell into my eyes. We began to study, it turned out that the church was not needed, we just needed a religious organization, ”he said.
After that, Kovalchuk and his colleagues decided to create a religious organization, the Brotherhood of the Bald, and conduct business on its behalf.
“Therefore, this weekend the hostel will work in the format of a monastery, Lelivi is a refectory, Lysy is a temple,” the businessman said.
Kovalchuk recalled that according to Art. 35 of the Constitution of Ukraine “Everyone has the right to freedom of world outlook and religion. This right includes the freedom to profess any religion or not to profess any, to freely practice, individually or collectively, religious cults and ritual ceremonies, to conduct religious activities. ”
