The problems never end for the Stellantis group. After the defective airbags, the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, it is the DS7 models that are affected by a recall campaign.

A new blow for DS cars. A problem has been identified at the level of the rear axle adjustment lever of the DS7 Crossback plug-in hybrid car, as indicated by Conso recall. A part that was not installed correctly and which therefore requires the French car manufacturer to carry out a recall campaign.

“Rather than remaining in its original position, the end of the lever slides on the collar, which can cause the steering wheel to become misaligned or the vehicle to veer off course. This can lead to loss of control of the vehicle, creating a risk of accident and injury,” the government website states.

Are you affected ?

If you are the owner of this vehicle, you are affected if it was sold to you between April 1, 2022 and June 30 2023.

To be really sure, you can go directly to the DS Automobiles website to check. All you have to do is enter your registration certificate and type the VIN number, which is located on line E of your registration document, into the search engine. Your dealer will carry out repairs if your SUV is affected.
