Thatcham Research, an automotive research center for auto insurers from the UK, has compiled a list of the safest new cars in 2023. The rating includes electric cars and crossovers. This was reported on the AM Online portal.
The list of the safest cars in 2023 is based on Euro NCAP crash test data. All models presented in it will be shortlisted for the What Car? in the “Best Safety” category.
All cars in the rating received five stars in Euro NCAP tests. They are equipped with equipment that will help ensure the safety of the driver, passengers and other road users.
Nine out of ten presented cars are fully electric or hybrid models. At the same time, not only expensive models, but also budget ones were included in the list.
