The Princess of Wales combines cardio and strength training daily to stay fit.

40-year-old Kate Middleton is the owner of excellent genetics. However, it is not necessary to be content with genetics alone. The princess has been known to combine cardio and strength training on a daily basis.

Fitness expert Isaac Robertson told express.co.uk about the exercises that the Princess of Wales practices as part of her fitness program. He believes that Kate's training program probably includes plank, running, yoga, Pilates and CrossFit.

“Kate takes her toned body very seriously. It is reported that the Duchess is also a fan of CrossFit and yoga. Most days she finds time for jogging, loves to ride a bike and does most of her workouts without a personal trainer,” the publication reports.

Running is said to be great way to start the day and burns 11.4 calories per minute. The Princess of Wales loves to run, but running can be replaced or supplemented with cycling, swimming, jumping rope and just walking.
