The new tax rules entered into force on 1 July this year. The new regulations include, among others, such issues as, for example, settling wages “on the hand” of people who are employed on the basis of an employment contract. PIT will also be reduced from 17 to 12 percent, and many will receive a refund from the Tax Office for this reason.
The tax changes are mainly caused by the confusion that was caused by the & ldquo; Polish Governance & rdquo ;, which quickly turned out to be a total failure. It was because of the confusion it caused that the tax regulations had to be changed.
Information about the changes was provided at the end of April this year by Mateusz Morawiecki. The prime minister said then that the changes were caused by the desire to compensate for the void in the wallets of Poles, which was caused by the war in Ukraine, and thus by its increasing prices, which are related to manipulations on the part of Gazprom.
Those who earn the least will not benefit from the changes. All due to the fact that the current minimum amount is tax-exempt. Refunds will be given to those who earn over PLN 3.2 thousand.
