Part of the indictment of the International investigation team (JIT) in the case of the downed over Donbass Malaysian Boeing, transferred to the judges of the district court of the Hague. The trial will begin on 9 March 2020, according to DW with reference to the representative of the court Yolanda of Winnable.
The court will be held in the framework of the national legislation of the Netherlands, rather than international, because of the 298 passengers aboard the plane were citizens of this country. For reasons of public interest, the process moved from the building of the district court of the Hague in the Legal complex, which is located near the Schiphol airport.
General judicial Board will consist of five judges – three permanent and two alternates. The case will be for 25 weeks: from 9 to 13 March 2020; March 23-27, 8 Jun – 3 Jul; 31 Aug – 13 Nov; 1 Feb – 26 Mar 2021. For what is happening in the court room will also be available via webcast on the website courtmh17.com.
