The world of rugby and the press mourns Christian Brualla. This great fan of the Ovalie, former independent journalist for Midi Libre, Midi Olympique and Radio Ciel Bleu, has just passed away this Friday, January 3, at the age of 77.
Born in Béziers, a city that he particularly cherished and that he never left, Christian, a former sales executive, has always been immersed in the Béziers rugby world. It is therefore quite natural that he first coached the ASBH rugby school and then became the pen and voice of local rugby. He also wrote a book, “100 years of passion” published in 2011, for the club's 100th anniversary. Christian Brualla has always been part of the Vaquerin challenge organization and was present at all ASBH trips up to Fédérale 1.
Also passionate about music, he produced the local musical group Harry’s Pounchouns for many years.
The religious ceremony will take place on Friday, January 10, at 4 p.m., in the Salle des Hommages du Pech Bleu, route de Corneilhan, in Béziers, followed by cremation. The editorial staff of Midi Libre Béziers joins in the grief of his family and loved ones and offers its sincere condolences.
