The Weeknd recently teased their new album, the sequel toAfter Hours, saying he was “really proud of this one”. In a recent tweet, he clarified that this project would be “a complete set of works” and inevitably, the fans are impatient to know more. And to keep them patient, the Canadian singer has joined forces with rappers Belly and Young Thug on the song. “Better Believe” which has just been released. The title is an excerpt from Belly’s next album, See You Next Wednesday and is accompanied by a movie clip that is worth seeing. We let you discover it just below.

The video opens on The Weeknd performing drifts on a racing circuit. In a very “James Bond” scene, the singer walks in slow motion while explosions are linked in the background. The class! The verses of “Better Believe” are provided by the two rappers Belly and Young Thug who is hit by a truck. A clip worthy of the greatest action movies! In fact, The Weeknd and Young Thug recently announced their upcoming roles on the screen. The Canadian will star in a new HBO series he co-created, The Idol. While the rapper will star in Tiffany Haddish’s new film, Throw It Back. The two artists also both collaborated on Doja Cat’s latest album, Planet Her which remains in second position in the Billboard charts for the week.
