Janusz Kupcewicz died at the age of 66. In his achievements, the footballer played a total of 20 matches for the Polish national team. During them, he scored five goals. Fans will remember him primarily for his excellent performance in the World Championships in Spain, held in 1982. Polish footballers managed to win a bronze puck during that time.
It was Janusz Kupcewicz who scored the goal that ensured Poland's victory over France. The result of 3: 2 meant that the Poles won the bronze.
