Serial burglars were sentenced in court in Vienna on Tuesday, January 28, according to information from Dauphiné Libéré.

During the year 2022, numerous burglaries were committed in an area ranging from Serpaize to Moras, south of Lyon.

On the night of March 15, 2022, individuals broke into a villa in Isle-d’Abeau and stole a colossal haul, including a box of Airpods.

Sentenced to prison

Thanks to the use of the geolocation of these earphones, the gendarmerie was able to solve many burglaries and arrest the culprits, four young people.

In the burglaries that followed, the investigators found DNA on a flashlight as well as blood from one of the burglars.

Two and a half years later, four young people – either brothers or cousins ​​– were sentenced by the Vienna judicial court.

Nadhem Amri was sentenced to three years in prison. His brother Rachad to two years in prison. Saiffedine was given a two-year sentence. The fourth in the gang was given a six-month suspended sentence.
