
Third teenager arrested for online threats against Mississauga school
Peel Regional Police have announced the arrest of a third teenager after threats against a Mississauga school.
Peel Regional Police, in a statement released Saturday, say a teenager has been arrested for making online threats and mischief against Lincoln Alexander High School in Mississauga, Peel Region.
Police say the 15-year-old has been released on bail. His appearance will take place in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
On Thursday, a 16-year-old girl was also arrested for threats against the same school, and a 14-year-old boy was also arrested on the same day for threats made against Chinguacousy High School in Brampton.
On March 2, prior to the arrests, Peel Regional Police were made aware of social media threats against six secondary schools in Peel Region.
< p class="e-p">The identities of those arrested are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact her.
